I'm going to see a show on Saturday and I've seen Spelling Bee 4 times. It's one of my favorites, but should I consider giving Jersey Boys a shot? And if so, do they usually have rush tickets for Saturday matinees?

If you've already seen Spelling Bee that many times, definately go see Jersey Boys - it's always good to try a new show, and JB is one of the best new shows this season.
And yes, you should be able to get rush tickets for a Saturday matinee. They're restricted view, but you should be able to see all the actors, just not some of the projections.

Posted: 3/1/06 at 11:58pmI agree. Go see Jersey Boys. And you know how much I love Bee. But give something else a try at least once before repeating again.

Oh my lord, talk about your undresized sample. Spelling Bee. Easily. And I'm not just saying that on the principle of "I hate jukebox shows".

Sweeney Todd. No, jay kay, sort of. Go see Jersey Boys.
See, this is what I'm saying about people... if you don't have unlimited time and money to see shows (some people do) why waste your time seeing the same show over and over and over and over?! SEE EVERYTHING! It's worth it, trust me! Even if you only enjoy one certain kind of show, if you go to see more diverse theater I bet you anything you'll suddenly find yourself enjoying everything.

I prefer Spelling Bee, but you should definitely see Jersey Boys if you haven't yet.
I hear ya, Roninjoey. I make it a point to see everything before I start seeing things fifty times. Usually. I try.
