OK, so, I'm sure this thread has been done before, but I don't feel like searching through the archives and wasting my night.
Looks to me like John Doyle is going to make himself a place in musical theatre, love him or hate him. What shows do you think his style would work with and which shows do you think it would hurt?
I think "Company" sounds great. I had mixed feelings about "Sweeney."
Discuss, please!

Using the search feature doesn't force you to search through the archives. It's very quick and painless.
I don't know much about his style. I know one concept of his. I would like to see more from him without the actor-musician concept.

Regardless, the point my comment was that I don't care if someone has already asked my same question, I'm asking it again.

Seems to me that John Doyle plans to keep toying with the actor-musician concept. I was just curious what other people though.
