Jefferson Mays back on Broadway! Brilliant!

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

Assuming that low earners like The Little Dog Laughed stay open until June, does this officially fill up all the theatres for Tony time aside from the Helen Hayes, which may or may not be done with remodeling?

This play is loaded with good scenes for acting classes. It is an all-male cast.

The play is also very good. I saw a strong production at the Shaw festival a few seasons ago.

One of my theater arts teachers came into my tech theatre class a couple weeks ago and told my tech theatre teacher that Stark Sands (I think that's his name?(who graduated from my high school)) has been cast in it. It's his Broadway debut! Very exciting. I hope this show does very well! :)

Yesss, Hugh Dancy!!! This may acually redeem his presence in the movie Blood and Chocolate, if such a thing were possible. Though it's definitely going to close before I get back to NY, I'm still so excited.

The dashing Boyd Gaines has been missing too long.

Gaines and Jefferson Mays in a show together??!!!! This is too good to be true.

Those troupers will burn the boards!!!!!

Excellence is coming!

They must have got the characters mixed up in the BWW article, no? No way Dancy can be Stanhope while Gaines is Raleigh - Raleigh is meant to be a few years younger than Stanhope, and Gaines is like 50 while Dancy is about 30. Maybe Dancy is meant to be listed as Raleigh, I think he'd be suited to the role.

I saw this production in London and thought it was dull dull dulllll. I liked the play when I read it, but in performance I found it very tedious. It does offer a few chances for fabulous performances, though.
