I skipped November's Actor of the Month because I could not think of someone. I struggled hard for one for December, and Mazel Tov to Krisha!

This month's chosen actor is Krisha Marcano, currently bringing audiences to their knees in laughter as the cute, loveable, and sexy "Squeak" in THE COLOR PURPLE.

Not only is she a talented actress, but she is extremely nice and very funny in person. She is also quite beautiful out of make-up.

KRISHA MARCANO (Squeak) is proud to be a part of The Color Purple, in her first principal role on Broadway. She trained at the Caribbean School of Dance in Trinidad and holds a BFA from SUNY Purchase. She continued her education at the Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance and the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center. Credits include the Martha Graham Dance Company, the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Broadway: Fosse (1st national tour), Aida, Sweet Charity, The Apple Tree, Purlie, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, The Color Purple (Atlanta). Love and thanks to her beautiful family and friends. I saw TCP on Saturday. And she was talking to me - sort of. And when she was talking to someone else and was leaning on me.

I thought she was hysterical. So was Felicia. But she's gonna get plenty of coverage come Tony time.

And I thought Krisha was just beautiful - when she walked out I was like "WOW!"
