Has anyone purchased a copy yet? Read it? What are you thoughts before I buy it. Any good?

I am a bagel on a plateful of onion rolls. If you know what I'm talking about, good. If you don't, you're on your own!

How about you buy it, form your own opinion, and then come back and tell us what you thought.

I just finished the book and I was surprised how much I liked it. I found it funny and sweet especially Aaron Sorkin's piece about her. It's fluff, but good fluff. I was amused that she would mention something about her personal life and then write something like "but some things are private, so we're not going to get into that." Then why are you writing a freaking memoir?! I liked her section about being a person of faith in the buisness, especially after her 700 Club debacle. And even though I am a fan of both her and Idina Menzel, I never particularly cared about their alleged catfights. I just assumed they got along fine during the show, but didn't click. But she basically said she doesn't hate Idina because she's not a hating person and "our paths haven't crossed enough for a mediocre rivalry much less a healthy stream of hatred" which I find to be a little bitchier than necessary, but that's just me. All in all, a good read, but nothing groudbreaking.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention...I'm the good cop, he's the bad cop.

It's not gonna win a Pulitzer Prize, but it's fun. I enjoyed it emmensely (but hat's just me). The best part is that it sounds like something she would say. I liked that she used Aaron Sorkin and her friend Denny to help tell some of her stories. I won't say too much; you'll have to read it for yourself.

kchenofan's computer is broken right now. This is her fridge. Now, you can leave a message, but say it slowly, so I can write it on a post-it note and stick it to myself.

How long til she shows up on the 700 club hocking it?

Cheap shot.

Yeah, her last appearance on that hate mongering show was pretty cheap of her.

Well if you actually read the book you will hear her side of the story. AND she says in her book she would not go back on that show due to the fact that it is something that she does not believe in.
Next time before you spew your homo-obsessed hatred (this complete arrogance about anyone who is anti-gay is really getting old-- AND I AM GAY!) read the book.

Geez

"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."

I will not be giving this hag any of my money.

Either she's stupid or a two faced bigot, either way, she's not get a dime from me.
