When does Marius sing higher than a "G"? Anyone know?
It's not in Empty Chairs, and I'm pretty sure it's not in "Little Fall of Rain"...
So...

Is it in Red/Black? "The color of despair!" (despair being the high note?
Also in Look Down, "Won't last a week, or so they say!" (Say being the high note)
He also has some high notes in "A Little Fall of Rain" too.
I'm not sure, just throwing out ideas

"My friend 'Ponine/ Brought me to you/ Showed me the way/ Someone is near/ Let's not be seen/ Somebody's here"
It's A-FLAT... learn how to read a key signature, Ebonic.
