LIZA'S AT THE PALACE to air November 27th, 2009 on Public Television

"Liza Minnellis Tony Award winning show Lizas At The Palace!, that was filmed at the Hollywood Theater in Las Vegas this September will air on Public Television November 27th, 2009. The 90-minute televised show will also be released as a full-length DVD in early 2010 from MPI video."

How long was the original New York show? I don't see the point of not airing the "full-length" program in the first place...

NEWS FLASH! Most of PBS' airings are edited from their original lengths. Especially 'non stage play' airings like FOSSE, all the concerts, etc. It also makes the DVD releases appetizing when they state: "includes bonus footage not seen on PBS".

Works insanely well getting those DVDs sold.
