Lauren Mufson as DONNA in MAMMA MIA

Just got back from seeing her today and she is AMAZING!!!!!. i saw her a few times before but she is just really perfect for the part. she blends in VERY well with the bway cast after only a few rehearsals. that goes to show you what kind of an actor she trully is. If you have time stop off and see her. she will be there til feb 5.

agreed, she's excellent in the role. Mufson really embodies Donna and provides a solid performance.

Oh thank God she has improved! I am glad to see such positive notices on her performance, because last year I caught the national tour in Hershey, PA and was terribly disappointed. It was like, "Ladies and Gentlemen, Hershey High School presents MAMMA MIA". That was the caliber of the performances, all around. My wife and I had two friends with us who had never seen the show before and they knew we had seen the original cast in New York. The show was over and they were like, "Is that what it's supposed to be like?!?" So, I am glad to hear all these positive things about Ms. Mufson's performance one year later! Her notices in Philly and Hershey were none too positive. But, hey! A lot happens in a year! Right!!?!? Of course right!

Saw Ms. Mufson last night and she does indeed play the part extremely well. She's a joy. Her voice is a bit nasal at times, but she's not bad vocally at all. She is great on the more rock numbers.
