Life Lessons, Sondheim-Style

I started compiling this listof life lessons told through Sondheim show lyrics during English yesterday, and I'd love to see your guys' additions.

1. Careful the things you say, children will listen.
2. Everybody's got the right to be happy.
3. Everybody ought to have a maid.
4. Someone is on your side; no one is alone.
5. A person should celebrate everything passing by.
6. Nice is different than good.
7. Don't be afraid that it won't be perfect. The only thing to be afraid of, really, is that it won't be.
8. You gotta get a gimmick!
9. Pretty isn't beautiful, pretty is what changes.
10. It's the little things you do together that make perfect relationships.

What have I missed? I'm pretty sure I've only scratched the surface here.
