Alright, I realize that a concept behind "The Lion King" is that you should appreciate the music and beauty of the scenery rather than lyrics at some points. However, not knowing the Zulu and Swahili translation is killing me! Does anyone know a place where this is listed?
ummm... the CD booklet. at least for some of the songs.
I've been able to find a lot of the translations by researching but if you get the Rhythm of the Pridelands CD, it should have some similar lyrics since the musical does get some of the songs from that one.

I think the beginning means "There's a lion, a very big lion... there's a lion and a tiger" or something.
It's something like "here is a lion,..." Busa mean Rule. So basically they are saying in the last song "Rule, Simba". I have all of my translations at home, but I'll be back at Thanksgiving. I know that's a while from now, but I will check.
