Thats odd... usually a show doesnt go on tour till atleast a year or so of beening on Bway like Wicked and Hairspray besides Little Women I thought wasnt doing as well as they had hoped... Hmmm strange
That's really weird. It seems a bit early as the show's not even been open for 6 months.
On the Record was originally in the spot that Little Women is now taking over.
yes i know...but is it a national tour???

Yes, it is. I've heard mention of it at a few places, but I haven't seen an official announcement or anything anywhere. I may have missed it, though
bear in mind above the title of the B'way WOMEN is Ken Gentry, who is the CEO (or something) of Networks.
NONONONONONO!!! Maureen, stay RIGHT HERE. I'm SURE we can find you another Broadway job! *sob*
Rath, you and Maureen can tour the provinces together, ala "Twentieth Century".
Okay. Are you going to be the one to tell her?

There are already many tour dates announced, including Atlanta.
It's coming to Birmingham to with Maureen McGovern to.......you can't hog her Rathnait62 I would like to see her performance.
I know I haven't heard any official announcement, but the Oakdale Theater here in CT has announced it has Little Women starring Maureen McGovern planned for its Broadway line up next season. I found it a little odd, but maybe its just in the planning stages and the theaters have just jumped the gun on announcing it to boost ticket sales?
I can too hog her. She's my wife. Or will be. Someday. In my dreams, at least...

Wait...Maureen is going to tour?
Little Women is slated for the Kennedy Center as well, but it seemed like it wasn't a tour when I read about it in the article announcing the 2005-2006 season.

NETworks Tours is producing the show, I guess. Here is the logo they have in their marketing area. I guess Maureen will tour.

I guess they're thinking the show is gonna close within the next year?

Maybe the show will stay open in NY, but they are using Maureen McGovern to catapult the show on the road.
And if you've checked the NETworks site recently, the LITTLE WOMEN tour has been slated for a few months...
