Little Women national tour already planned?? check this site out, and it says starring "maureen mcgovern direct from broadway in october 2005....

Will: They don't give out awards for helping people be gay... unless you count the Tonys.

Posted: 3/12/05 at 7:13pmI know I haven't heard any official announcement, but the Oakdale Theater here in CT has announced it has Little Women starring Maureen McGovern planned for its Broadway line up next season. I found it a little odd, but maybe its just in the planning stages and the theaters have just jumped the gun on announcing it to boost ticket sales?

NETworks Tours is producing the show, I guess. Here is the logo they have in their marketing area. I guess Maureen will tour.

Maybe the show will stay open in NY, but they are using Maureen McGovern to catapult the show on the road.
And if you've checked the NETworks site recently, the LITTLE WOMEN tour has been slated for a few months...
And if she'll say, "My darling, I'm yours!" I'll throw away my striped tie and my best pressed tweed, all I really need is the girl...
