I try not to post messages like this, but I searched for this and didn't find anything. I'm trying to get tickets for Mame in D.C. but am unfamiliar with the Eisenhower Theater at Kennedy Center. Does anyone know what the balcony seating is like? All the orchestra seats available are really far back and I didn't know if it would be better to sit in the balcony since it's not a huge balcony. If anyone knows, please post information about the theater. Thank you very much!
I too had to chose between middle of the balcony or back of the orchestra. I chose the balcony and then asked the question on allthatchat (am I allowed to admit I read that board? Its far less friendly and they didnt allow me to use MrKringas!)
The general response was that there is not a bad seat in the house and the balcony feels quite close to the stage. Plus its Mame! That cast are going to be projecting their performance to the gods. I dont think we can expect post-Sondheim characterisations... at least I hope not! I want some good old fashioned big musical comedy 101 from Baranski and Co.

Thank you, Mrkringas! It looked like a smaller theater so I thought that might be the case, but I wasn't sure.
Thanks again!
