She got sick and could not continue.

She came down with the flu the other day and, as CPD excellently stated, "could not continue."

Does anyone else agree with me that Niki Scalera (currently in Tarzan) would make a fabulous Mary Poppins, once Ashley leaves? She has the look and the voice and after seeing her perform as Jane in Tarzan, the acting chops too!
Plus, she'd be going from one Disney show to another, which seems to be a trend on Broadway
