Spamalot is still currently touring too. Hairspray and The Drowsy Chaperone will be starting another leg in January. Oh! South Pacific is starting up soon.

I think the production of "Little House on the Prairie" that's playing Papermill in September is planning to tour starting in October. I don't know how long or how many cities.

Don't overlook regional threatre productions.

American Theatre Magazine will publish full 2009-2010 seasons of several hundred LORT theatres state-by-state in its fall issue. Smaller less commercial shows may not do a full-fledged national tour, but there will be many productions that won't be roadshows.

For instance there were about 5 productions of Grey Gardens last season--DC and Philly to name two.

Well, if one of them were the Chicago production...Wicked would be listed as having 3 tours.

It's a mistake. I think at one point they were considering turning the Chicago production into a 2NT, which may have contributed to the confusion.

Actually, Wicked closed in Chicago way back in January.

Shrek's tour is starting in the spring at the Cadilac Palace here in Chicago
