I say Lloyd.

The actresses who played Dotty in the two Broadway productions (Dorothy Loudon and Patti LuPone) were both top-billed, so I'd say Dotty.
I'd have to agree with the Dotty sentiments, although I do feel that Brooke Ashton is very close if not equal in importance.

Dotty, with the male lead being Lloyd.
Brooke is featured, and Katie Finneran won a Tony in that category.

I just finished a production of Noises Off, and Dotty was the final bow, so I'd say Dotty. Lloyd was right before Dotty, so I'd agree that he's the male lead.
Yankee- Yes, I know. But it just seems, to me, that Brooke and Dotty share the spotlight.
In a production I recently saw, Selsdon took the final bow.
It's just such a wonderful ensemble piece.
It's an ensemble piece, however Dotty generally gets the top billing since she is the big star in the show itself.
When I did it, everyone bowed together. Every person is an equal in this show.
Yes, I agree.
I just wish act 3 ended better. It's a weak ending to an extremely strong show.
we just put it on at my school and what we did for curtain call was:
stage managers
selsdon
belinda and freddie
brooke and gary
Dotty
Lloyd
So I'd say Dotty or Lloyd
Dotty the lead?
Really?
All this time, I played a lead in a play with more than one actor and no one ever told me?
Sweet.
As flattering as it is to think of Dotty as the lead, however, I'd agree that this is an ensemble piece. In my production, there was no curtain call. Everyone just kinda went on stage at the same time. Of course, then again, we really had no time to plan curtain call. I wouldn't call Dotty the lead. With the exception of Poppy, Tim, and Selsdon, I'd say that everyone gets an equal amount of stage time.
