NY Daily News Error on GREASE auditons!

I read todays article on the GREASE auditions for the upcoming NBC series "Your The One That I Want" and it said this:

The winners of the NBC show "You're the One That I Want" will get to play Sandy Olsson and Danny Zuko - the roles made famous by Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta in the 1978 classic movie musical.

When did Sandy Dumbrowski become Sandy Olsson? Was that the original name or did the change it or error?

i dunno. in the play it's dumbrowski, and in the movie it was olssen (is that really how you spell it?).
