So...i just arrived and will try to aajgive constant updates. I am seeing Tarzan tonight. BY THE WAY...............It is a scorcher!!! GOSH!!!! Its great to be back. I revisited former hotels such as eddison and amsterdam court. My friend and I went to Richard Rodgers theater (right across the street from our hotel)!!!!! We saw that today's matinee is being performed by Josh's understudy who is also a Josh. Man, I hope he is back tonight when we go!!! Has anyone seen this other Josh do it!! No matter what.....I will let all know what I think of the show afterwards.

Saw Kevin Massey last night perform the role of Tarzan!!! He did a very good job. I was slightly disappointed that Josh Strickland wasnt there but I quickly got over it! By the way......I did enjoy the show. Visually, it was great. The "green" didnt get to me. From the way everyone talked I was expecting there to be a bare stage the whole time. They had many differeny scene changes to spice things up. Sure, the book is not incredible but then again it is Disney so it is very simple. Everything else was really ejoyable! The sound was great! By the way........Chester gregory was amazing! Easily my favorite. Daniel played young tarzan and did a fabulous job. The important thing was the audience enjoyed it and everyone was walking out light on their feet and singing the music! I left with a good feeling!!! I went in not expecting much because of the negativity and left feeling very good about the whole experience !!
Oh and......before anyone flames me......I am very critical of shows. I dont just except anything.
Tonight I will be seeing Wedding singer!

Just saw Wedding Singer last night!! 8/3 and it was good. Really a lot of fun. I saw Tina and Cara. They were really incredible!! The whole show was very simple but hilarious. So many of us were rolling! I almost couldnt catch up with all of the lyrics!! LOL!!! I liked a lot of the set pieces, especially the club scene, wow!! Oh and who can forget PONG during the entre act!! LOL That sent me flying!! Of course my heart goes out to the Delorian! That was an amazing throwback. This left me with another feel-good happiness as I left!! Everyone but grandma rose and the all for one actor who played the president hung around to greet everyone afterwards.
Tonight I seea preview of Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me!! I have already heard great things about this production and I am sure I will have side splitting laughter like never before. Today, even though I have seen the movie before I am seeing Superman Returns! But I am seeing it in Imax 3D!! Yeah, I know, not too New York, but oh well! Cant do it at home though.

Posted: 8/5/06 at 9:16amWow!! What can I say.......Martin Short last night was nothing short of incredible. No, not anywhere near a normal musical or a one man show for that reason but it was so enjoyable. One of the greatest nights of theater that I have ever had.......comedy style. I have never laughed so much in a long time. I was literally in tears at one specific point in the show!! Everyone was unbelievably talented. I would say the most talented guy that showed it off was Brooks and for the lady.......none other that Nicole from Mad TV. Just seeing Marc Shaiman on stage and playing the piano and acting, sort of......was so worth it!! I had no idea of his involvement with Hairspray! I will say more about it later but I will not forget last night ever. I even stage doored and got Martin's autograph.
