Someone (NYadgal?) posted here awhile ago that they were involved with this concert on May 19 at Carnegie Hall. If you're still around, can you say whether Paulo Szot is performing much in this? Thanks. (Link is to Carnegie Hall page)

I really hope he'll sing "This Nearly was Mine"...
According to his website www.pauloszot.com ,
he is going to London for South Pacific -UK - Barbican in august and the last week of december in Oxford.
I wish I had $$ to fly there...

Has anyone seen a program for this? I read she'll be doing stuff from Porgy & Bess, Mame, Ann Get Your Gun, etc., but nothing about what he's doing or how much he's singing.
Looks like it might be fun. Love both their personalities and voices.

A poster named NYadgal posted about this on the other board awhile ago, but no specifics.
I'm sorry I missed this thread. (I haven't been online much recently).
The evening starred Deborah Voigt, but very much included Paulo Szot. And he performed 'This Nearly Was Mine' magnificently.
The program was not posted in advance, but the notes received listed it as:

Hearing Paolo Szot do an Oklahoman accent for the beginning of "Oklahoma" was adorable. And his "Thos Nearly Was Mine" was perfectly sung, perfectly still, just his voice, those words, that music. Perfect.
And Deborah Voigt's "Losing My Mind"...I nearly lost mine.
