I like it. I like how they have Taylor with the dog in the forefront and the orphans in the background. I just wish they'd remove all that construction stuff below the marquee.

Looks great. Just the Palace has always had a terrible marquee. It's a shame it's not a shade or two bigger than the surrounding marquees to make it stand out.

I always thought using those two other boards next to them would be good. Daddy Warbucks and Grace on one board and Hannigan, Rooster and Lily on the other.

The Palace used to have a much larger marquee.

But then they decided to cut it in half.

It did have a normal Broadway theatre marquee until around 1990, when the old Palace building was torn down for the hotel that engulfed it. That's when that Palace blade and the curved neon marquee went up.

For the record what you are referring to is not the theater marquee. The Palace Theater's marquee is the signage with the cartoon ANNIE logo...what is above it is a BILLBOARD. That's what you're referring to: a billboard.

Taylor and Sadie look very much alike in costume but it is Taylor - with Sunny the dog. Even though they are sharing the role equally, Taylor has been there from the beginning so if they had to pick one for the picture, she would be the one to choose based on seniority alone if nothing else I would imagine.

However, Taylor does not normally work with Sunny, she almost always works with Mike the second dog. I have heard it's easier on both the dog and the child to predominately work with the same animal. I wonder if she will continue to work with Mike - and then Sadie would work with Sunny.

I like the billboard. I never liked the first one which was just the cartoon Annie..and the Jane Lynch one was just awkward at best and was obviously geared for Jane regardless of what show she was in. This one is much more personal, warm and friendly than either of the other two. If I was just walking by, it would get me to buy an Annie ticket more than either of the others.

I'm so happy for Taylor. She was phenomenal when I saw her go on for Annie this weekend and she was such a little sweetheart at the stage door. I hope her career really takes off after her time in Annie.
