New York Musical Theatre Festival $5 Student Exclusives!!!

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) is the largest annual musical theatre event in America! This year, from September 28th to October 18th, over thirty original musicals will be lighting up the stages of NYC. Check out nymf.org for more details!

NYMF is where Next to Normal, [title of show], Altar Boyz and dozens of other great musicals began. This year, in addition to $10 student rush tickets, the festival is offering $5 student exclusive tickets. Sign up to be a STUDENT EXCLUSIVE CLUB member to periodically receive emails promoting special $5 tickets for selected performances, generally 24-48 hours before curtain. To purchase these tickets, bring the code, cash, and a valid student ID (2 tickets per ID) to the box office 30 minutes before curtain. What a great deal! Sign up by emailing [e-mail]. You must include your first and last name, as well as which school you currently attend. All high school and college students are eligible!

In addition, we have Student Leaders at NYMF, awesome current students who are involved with the festival! The Student Leader team is hosting NYMF talkbacks, running a facebook group (join here: http://tinyurl.com/lg43mp) writing a Student Insider blog about NYMF (http://nymfslp.wordpress.com/), and letting their fellow students know what NYMF is all about!

And this year, there are so many NYMF musicals to get excited about! From MY ILLUSTRIOUS WASTELAND's sci-fi intrigue to SEEING STARS' jazz-singing pugilists to STREET LIGHTS' hip hop drama to OPEN THE DARK DOOR's wicked small town satire to F#@KING UP EVERYTHING's ironic hipster love to GAY BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN's campy graphic novel come to life to MY SCARY GIRL's quirky serial killer to MO FAYA's inspirational Kenyan rhythms to FANTASY FOOTBALL THE MUSICAL's "bromantic" musical comedy, there is something for everyone!
