Newsies Stage Door

does anyone know about how long it takes for the Newsies to start coming out of the stage door after a performance?

10 to 15 minutes...basically as long as it takes to clear the theatre out, plus a couple of minutes.

Not everyone stage doors. Keep an eye out for some the the guys just coming out the front door

However, they aren't required to stage door so they just leave. Please don't run after those who don't stage door and just leave the theatre through the front doors.

Also was it crowded when you went? Who came out/ who didn't?

Yes, it is always crowded, unless it is only 30 degrees and snowing outside.

Who comes to sign can vary quite a bit, but rarely do more than 10 or so go through (so when people say they met "the entire cast" at the stage door, I promise they are lying). People who tend to go out most of the time, at least from what I've seen on Tumblr and stage door pictures are Corey Cott (Jack), Liana Hunt (Katherine) and Andy Richardson (Crutchie). I think Ben (Davey) used to go quite a lot too, but don't know if his temp replacement does. The thing is, so many have been in the cast for quite a long time that I'm sure the screaming fans at the stage door have worn them out. Oh, and the little guys playing Les tend to sign too. LaVonne Fisher-Williams (Medda) seems to go to the stage door frequently as well. In general, the older cast members *very* rarely make an appearance at the stage door, so don't expect to meet the people playing Teddy Roosevelt, Snynder, Bunson, or Pulitzer.
