Does anyone know much longer this plans on running? I'm coming up to the city in July and would love to see it.

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.
Tony Kushner: You can sing it at my funeral.

I was wondering the same thing. It has been on my "To See" list for some time, I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I haven't heard but GO SEE IT!!! It is amazing. (And I don't just say that as a new teacher.) What Nilaja does in that show is awesome!! I go when I've had a rotten day or week and need inspiration to remember why I'm teaching. As far as I know it's "open ended". But it's definitely worth seeing.

It's closing June 3rd, prior to a national tour:

Thanks! I'll have to get a ticket to the 3rd. I'm going with the UFT New Teacher's group in April...so that'll be two more times to see it.

Much love for this little show!!
