Obscure Question About the Seats in BAM's Gilman

Wondering whether anyone is familiar enough with the Gilman Opera House to offer an opinion on how comfortable the seats are ...

I see a fair number of performances at BAM, but they tend to be in the Harvey Theater, and I tend to be in the Balcony -- where the prices are great but the seats (frankly) are torture.

I have the option of seeing Einstein on the Beach in NYC or Berkeley ... if the seats in the Gilman are as bad as the seats in the Harvey, I don't think I could last the 5+ hours!

You are absolutely right about the seats upstairs at the Harvey; they are horrible. The balcony seats at the Gilman are fine.
