I'm sitting here with my friend and we just saw In the Heights last week. We thought Olga Merediz's performance in In The Heights was absolutely stellar. I was wondering what the people from broadwayworld think about her Tony chances?

Talked about a lot on the "ITH" love thread.. Think she definitely gets a nom (no doubt!)

Would love to see her win !!! She is really a sweetheart !

YES YES YES YES YES YES!

She must recieve a nomination. A win is unlikely, with stiff competition from Laura Benanti/Megan Mullaly/Andrea Martin/Sherie Renee Scott, but if it were up to me I'd give to her in heartbeat. Engaging, funny, well-sung, heartwarming and more--that's her performance in IN THE HEIGHTS.

And I think she could win
Her stiffest competition is
not that well liked and
politics always play a part.

As if "whoever played Abuela" wasn't amazing enough, when you find out what she really looks like and how young she is, it is just incredible.

I think she'll definitely get a nomination, and will give certain favorites a run for their money.
