On The Town...

I saw the Encores! production of On The Town and have been listening to the original recording non stop ever since. Are there any rumors of a Broadway transfer? I understand the most recent revival was underwhelming but the Encores! production was sensational. There will definitely be no shortage of theaters and with the success of Gypsy (despite its recent announcement of earlier closing) I don't see why not. Anyone heard any rumors?

It's doubtful...it makes me sad that the City Center shows are so strong but so short-lived (usually).
