It is not letterboxed but other than that it is a great transfer. For a buck, you cannot beat it. We can watch it ( I have not seen it in years & the Mrs never saw it) before we see the show in a few weeks.
Widescreen is better anyway.
True but what do you want for a buck. Lawrence of Arabia has to be seen in widescreen. This is another story

Enjoy the movie, Mr Roxy. I hope you understand the plot.
I was wondering what would take you so long to come up with one of your alledgedly witty remarks. Getting a little to old to get to the keyboard ?
Have a nice night

I'll respond to that when you correct your spelling errors.
Don't hold your breath
On second thought, that sounds like a great idea

Charming thoughts coming from someone who has the IQ of Saran Wrap!
Wait. I am confused.
Is letterbox the same as widescreen?
I though letterbox was full screen.
So is this movie in widescreen or full screen?
Synapse gap time!
Fullscreen is exactly what it states - the entire screen is taken up bu the picture
Letterboxed will have black bars on the top & bottom of the TV screen which is the correct aspect ratio of the original film. Some widescreen movies on full screen are watcable like Pajama Game. Others like Lawrence of Arabia or Ben Hur must be watched with letterboxed transfers
