"Parade" - the 1935 version

Chanced upon this short-lived 1935 musical revue in the Broadway Database.

With a creative team that included Marc Blitzstein, Robert Russell Bennett, Conrad Salinger, Robert Alton, David Raksin, Irene Sharaff and with a cast that included Eve Arden, Jimmy Savo & Charles Walters (and a host of forgotten performers)... it seems extremely tantalizing.

Miriam ...this one's for you. Do you have any recollections of this show?

The content looks very political, verging on communist! Apart from the performers you've already mentioned, I recognise Ezra Stone, Evelyn Dall, Ralph Riggs and Leon Janney. Melton Moore came to Australia three years later to star in I MARRIED AN ANGEL.

I remember the musical PARADE but other than knowing the title, I know nothing else of the revue. Sorry!
