I want to go into NYC tom, and since I haven't seen the phantom of the opera I thought maybe I should see that. Does phantom sell at the tkts booth often? And what is the cheapest price I could get tkts for? Also, I heard it was cheaper or easier to go to the theatre to get tickets, has anyone tried this, and can you give me input please.
Thank you

If you're near the theatre, walk up to the box office. I got 13th row dead center at 1/2 off doing that - a school group turned back some tickets. I was surrounded by Jr. High students, but they behaved themselves for the most part.
I believe TKTS just sells tickets that haven't been sold, not tickets that were turned back in, but I could be wrong.
Skip TKTS. Print out a discount code and take it right to the box office. You will have flexibility with seating locations and can avoid the long lines. It might be a little more than TKTS (not that much), but for what it is worth, I'd rather go with the discount code.
