Really? Cause from what I saw the photos from the actual show just came out.
Some of the costumes aren't so bad. Some are just ugly. But I'm not a fan of 'steam-punk' at all.

You're thinking of the Helsinki production.
It's not as bad as I thought, not nearly as bad as those Helsinki ones, but I'n not a fan of the plasma screen TVs that are in alot of set designs these days
Hm. I kind of like it. Some of those fabrics are gorgeous. And I think the more intimate scope will probably serve the material well. This looks a bit like what I imagine some of the higher end regional productions will eventually look like here in the US.

Looks like an improvement on the uninspired original design, even if it does seem to channel Spring Awakening.
Looks gorgeous. I'd love to see that production. Morrible's dress is stunning.
