What are some of the best plays to see this fall. I already saw the Glass Menagerie in Boston and loved it. I might see it again but would rather see something new. I'm looking for a weekday ticket which will most likely be a Wednesday or Thursday in October and/or early November. I really enjoy comedies but some drama's do interest me. Any suggestions?
People are loving THE OLD FRIENDS. I'm seeing it on Sunday and will let you know my opinion.
BETRAYAL seems to be the hot ticket. THE SNOW GEESE is probably the one I'm looking forward to the most as well as the London Shakespeare transfers.
Clyde-I think I'll be there Sunday evening-and am looking forward to it very much.
Betrayal Big Fish and First Date.
Betrayal and Big Fish arent out yet, but First Date has the best word of mouth this season so far.
Good job, sue. You know the difference between a play and a musical.
Haha yea Clyde said it best. I appreciate the thought Sue but I'm looking for strictly plays. Also, I saw First Date and had a great time! Does anyone know if Betrayal is selling out? It looks pretty good. I've actually never heard of The Old Friends. I'll check it out. Any more suggestions are appreciated! Also I'm open for off broadway too!

In addition to Betrayal and with the complete cast announcement, The Snow Geese, I'm looking forward to Domesticated and The Commons of Pensacola.
Laurie Metcalf and Blythe Danner. What more can I say?

Domesticated (Lincoln Center); Luce (LCT3); The Patron Saint of Sea Monsters (Playwrights Horizons); Too Much, Too Much Too Many (Roundabout Underground). If you opt for Luce or Too Much..., tickets are only $20-$30.
If you're also interested, Soho Rep will be doing a campy version of Marie Antionette by David Adjmi (recently seen at Yale Rep).

I truly enjoyed 'Buyer and Cellar' at the Barrow Street when I saw it 2 weeks ago. It is Off-Broadway but a fun and funny evening of theatre. It will be running through the first week in January.
Mark Rylance in Twelfth Night and Richard III. Probably my most eagerly anticipated Broadway production in the fall.
Off-Broadway: Good Person of Szechwan at the Public. Saw this at LaMaMa early this year, and it was the best production of a Brecht play I have ever seen. Very accessible, wonderful performances and music, funny and poignant.
Clyde, Mike, you right. oops sorry!
