Her big break in Hollywood is the Geiko Caveman sit-com? Come on, couldn't she at least get on the Grey's Anatomy spin off?
Yes, I KNOW she will be making big bucks and with a Tony nomination it is hard to feel sorry for the woman, but come on, she deserves better than "It's About Time, Again" don't you think?

PEACE.

Oh Lord. Please say it isn't true. I wish that television wouldn't swallow up our brilliant engaging depth-infused theatre actors and turn them into 2-dimensional stereotypes of the week.

I know -- these actors readily sign on to these projects, and as Sueleen said, it's big bucks. But it really is an utter shame that a career in the theatre cannot provide a full enough living for these actors to work on challenging projects worthy of their talent and survive.

Well, Ms. White will always be welcomed back to the theatre community when her sitcom inevitably fails (don't 9 out of 10 sitcoms fail these days?).

This isn't her "big break." She had a large role on Six Feet Under for quite a while, and she was fantastically evil. That said, being involved with this TV show is a shame, and I completely agree with the "poor Julie White" sentiment.

Why does it matter? She's working. If the show flops, it flops. If it's funny, it's funny. She will come out unscathed - so who cares?

She was very well known for her role in GRACE UNDER FIRE the hit TV series for ABC. She was a household name then...and to some still is, if you just mention that show!

Munk, I don't disagree, but it looks to be a huge bomb. I have no doubt that she will not be harmed by it, but she deserves to be part of a better project.

Douchechill inducing preview of CAVEMEN from ABC.com:
http://abc.go.com/fallpreview/cavemen/index?u=0

Edit: The more I watch this preview, the more I am not sure how it is supposed to be funny. Like the joke doesn't even make sense. So Magger is the N-Word for Cavemen? So they randomly use it in popculture references and hilarity ensues? And furthermore, this is the clip they use to promote the show? This is the funniest thing they have?

Mitzi! She was the biggest B!TCH on television. I loved that character! She was beyond evil.

She'll always be tops with me. I'll even watch the Caveman show to see her. And to be honest, I thought the Cavemen commercials were very funny and witty when they first came out. The new one with the therapist makes me laugh. So who knows.

Back during the "I have some good news...I just saved a ton of money by switching my car insurance to Geiko" days that would be a fabulous coming out in Hollywood. I hate the caveman campaign, though.

Who was she on Six Feet Under? The real estate lady?

And that caveman show should be cancelled just based on the previews. I too love the commercials (And even have the song from the one in the airport on my phone!) but I don't think the show will fly.

She was Mitzi in SIX FEET UNDER, the lady that wanted to buy off their family business...she was delicious in that show.

I hate the commercials, and I doubt the show will be much better. But maybe she'll make it bearable.

I don't think that she has EVER been a "household name." Who's house are you talking about?
