Yep, seeing Vanessa Williams and Barbara Cook, and a (generally) great supporting cast perform some of the best songs ever written for theatre, while hearing some (at times) insightful commentary from the man himself - from the second row centre, for about $50, was one of the biggest regrets of my life.

No sympathy needed for me, fellow yankee fan. I am glad I saw SOS. I liked it much more than the previous Sondheim reviews and found it insightful and moving. Two or three numbers were not so hot, but many were golden. I rarely buy OCRs anymore, but I will buy this one.
The house seemed full, the audience very appreciative.
