REJECTION

Hi Board
Recently I auditioned for Orin in Little Shop of Horrors. I realy wanted this part for ever. I got a called back for Mushnick instead of Orin and didn't get that part either. I've been pretty depressed about this. How do people here deal with rejection?

Just practice your songs and monologues and go to another audition.

I really do understand how you feel.
my high school is doing beauty amd the beast, and i wanted gaston so bad and i worked so extra hard to be get the part.....and i ended up getting maurice. i had a really hard time dealing with it, and then i was ok. then after the first read through, i was worst then when i first looked at the cast list. but iam getting over it......and the thing that sucks the most is that a community theatre nearby is doing honk! and i have been waiting to do that show since summer(not knowing what the school musical would be)and i really wanted to be ugly.....oh well...and there is no way i can do both, so whats done is done.
