I'm going to see the RENT tour tomorrow night, and I was just wondering if the sold stuff at the show?

When I went they were selling hats, tees & the plush cow.

Edith 'Little Edie' Bouvier Beale: Do you think my costume looked all right for Brooks? I think he was a little amazed.

When it came to Huntsville, Alabama last year they didn't have a stand. I was kind of disappointed cause i really wanted the cast recording.

Why would you want to buy the cast recording at the show when you can get it at virtually any music store for a cheaper price?

When I went last year, they did not have the poster available either.

Jonart- I was in Philly, and they most certainly did have cows. When did you see it? I saw it the 16th.

Usually, yes. The posters in NY usually say the theater name, the tour on doesn't. Sometimes, the designs are completely different, too (ie. The Producers). Lion King was in Boston for like 7 months, and had a Boston poster (Mufasa on the moon over the Boston skyline), so it depends on the tour.

Well the new RENT poster that they re-released (you can buy it in NY) has no cast or theatre listed. Its got the pics of the OBC, similar to the CD cover, and it says RENT and then lists the writer and directer.

What happened to this "Tour" poster???

I dunno what happened to that poster! (But, I do have it hanging on my bedroom wall. *worships Ebay*) It was so darn good...

When I saw the Rent tour- THEY WEREN'T SELLING THE PLUSH COW! I WAS BROKEN! (I ended up seeing the show again in NYC a month later, and finally got my Elsie. re: RENT Tour Souvenirs) They were also not selling souvenier playbills (again, I was a broken human being!) or posters. It made me very sad.
