Brian Stokes Mitchell and who else for the other two stars?
Vanessa Williams was the other person hinted at in the article.
"Miss" and "Ugly" refer to Vanessa Williams!

I just don't get the point of this needing a production.
It's going to intertwine with Sondheim's 80th birthday.

Yeah, I could understand it as like a benefit type thing, but as a full fledged production? It just doesn't seem needed. But I guess it makes sense.
The revue features music and lyrics by Stephan Sondheim, and orchestrations by Michael Starobin.
That's just great - Stephan Sondheim must be proud.
I'm just curious, has there been a "Rialto Chatter" yet that hasn't been a rehashing of a Riedel column with a link to the column itself? I don't mean to be rude, I love the idea of the column, but when all you're doing is paraphrasing someone who's funnier than you, you might as well just include a retweet of his post in "Twitter Watch."
Cook, Stokes AND Miss Williams would get me to the theatre, whatever the hackneyed title.
But Starobin over Tunick? Tunick made PUTTING IT TOGETHER sound halfway decent (oftentimes more) with, what, 5 pieces? Starobin has made ORCHESTRAS sound small...
