Recasting OBCs

I don't think this has been done yet.

If you could take any OBC and switch up actors and roles (gender-bending allowed, I know there are range restrictions that would make it impractical, but this is just for fun), who would you want to see as who? Rent examples:

Roger- Idina Menzel. I just want to hear it.
Mark- Daphne Rubin-Vega. Yeah, I know Mark's a guy but I think she'd do good with it for some odd reason.
Angel- Adam Pascal. I would get a serious kick out of it.

I think the black guy on TTB (I forgot his name) would have been an awesome Collins in RENT.

His name is Jerry Dixon (I'm pretty sure), and I agree that he'd be a fantastic Collins.

As for RENT, I'd love to see Daphne play Roger, and Adam play Mimi, then Jesse Martin would play Angel, and Wilson would play Collins.... basically just switch around all the couples.

I would like to hear Cheno and Menzel switch characters, as well as Rapp and Pascal (just for kicks)

The Cast of Ave Q in different places. The thing is, it might actually work. John could be Kate/Lucy. etc. I'd pay to see that!
