"Remind Me" by Jerome Kern

I just downloaded the song "Remind Me" that was performed by Ron Rifkin in the S.T.A.G.E concert Jerome Kern: Life Upon a Wicked Stage. I had never heard this song before but since Rifkin is one of my favorite performers I got it and now I'm obsessed with the song. I wanted to know if anyone here knew what film this song is from and who wrote the lyrics.
I thought it was from a Broadway show but according to the info I've found online, it has only been on Broadway in the revue JEROME KERN GOES TO HOLLYWOOD. Can anyone help?

That's a no-brainer. The song, with lyrics by Dorothy Fields is from the film "One Night in the Tropics."

Ella sings it beautifully on the Jerome Kern Songbook.

And Mabel Mercer does a beautful reading of it on The Art of Mabel Mercer. Have you ever heard her, Ray? She's a bit of an acquired taste.

I haadn't heard of her before, PJ. But thanks so much for the suggestion, I shall look her up. The song is so great, I'd love to hear another great rendition.
