Rent Critic's Reviews

I was reading some magazines and searching the internet for Rent reviews, when I realized that all of the critics say the same thing: "what an awful movie." It was completely trashed.

MSN said that Rent needs "a new lease". Us Weekly said that it was a film to rent 4 months later. People said that you shouldn't waste your time seeing this movie.

Now I personally loved the movie. I laughed, cried, shook. But everyone else in the theater didn't feel any emotion to it. Most of the people said it was "flat." One guy even said, "They should've ****ed before the died."
Which made me so angry that I wanted to slap him.

What does everyone else think of this?

Are you serious? There are about fifty threads on this topic, I'm sure you could have posted this on one of them and got to see what EVERYONE else thought. The search feature still works on this board.
