Broadway Legend Joined: 3/20/04
Keith David, Austin Lysy, Jay O. Sanders, Laila Robins, Mirelle Enos, and Tim Blake Nelson have all been cast in the Public's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. They'll be playing Oberon, Lysander, Bottom, Titania, Hermia, and Quince, respectively. Also in the cast are Jason Antoon (Snout), Missi Pyle (Helena), John Michael Hill (Puck), Daniel Oreskes (Theseus), and Elliot Villar (Demetrius).
Daniel Sullivan directs the show, from August 7 - September 9.

Very interesting. It's about time Enos returned to the New York stage, although I'd rather see her as Helena than Hermia. I'm assuming this is the same Missi Pyle from Mad TV...I'm very interested to see her flex her classical comedic muscles.
I love Jay Sanders, but think Tim Blake Nelson would be a great Bottom, you should excuse the expression.
Wasn't Enos in Absurd Person Singular just last season? Or was that two seasons ago?
And I LOVE me some Missi Pyle.

Yep, it's Missi Pyle from all those horrible movies. She's always the stand-out.

Enos is too short to be Helena...
I went to college with La Pyle, and yes, she is a very fine Shakespearian stage actress.
Absurd Person Singular was two seasons ago.
She can't take a season off?
It's not like she's Streep and left for 20 years!
Actually, she didn't take time off; she was in London/on tour with Virginia Woolf. I just missed her in New York, though.
