STUNNING '100 Years Into the Heart"

I was, in a word, STUNNED. Saturday night I had one of those moments where I felt the whole audience was reacting as one. It was an amazingly touching, beautiful beautiful piece of work. Engaging story, gorgeous music, wonderfully acted,and so very very moving.

I don't know when I cried harder, at the end of the show, or when I was told that Jonathan Todd Ross is straight. When he entered without his shirt, there was an audible gasp from the audience. I could spend more than 100 Years in that heart, honey, let me tell you.

If you long for something special, truly lovely, the kind of wonderful experience that you remember having when you first started going to to see live theatre, don't miss this.

Anybody seen any of the other pieces? I'm trying for 'Merman' and 'Caligula', although I hear 'Altar Boyz' is genius.

Rupert: when were you there? I saw Friday and LOVEd it too. Cried and cried. And yes, JT Ross, very yummy. So glad it's getting some attention. Very satisfying theater. Does anyone know if you can get a CD of the music anywhere?

I don't think there will be a CD, will there? I mean, it's a very limited run. God, if there was a recording, I'd buy a bunch to give as gifts. Such gorgeous melodies, so romantic.

Sorry. Don't mean to gush. But I'm still in my Jonathan Todd Ross reverie.

There are little bits of the music on the Lodin and Squir website. That's all I can find. And no pics yet from the show. Damn!
