Sammy Williams In My Drama Class Today!

My drama teacher is good friends with Sammy Williams (Original Paul and Tony Winner, A Chorus Line) so she invited him to come in and speak and he came today. He has a really incredible story. He told us all about his experiences pre, post and during A Chorus Line, as well as the other shows he did; The Happy Time, Applause. He is such a nice guy and was awesome to get to talk to. He is currently writing a one man show that he hopes will be on broadway within the next year or so about his experience both on and off the line. Anyway, here are some pics during his talk!








It was really awesome meeting a Broadway Legend like Sammy! He had some interesting opinions about the new ACL, but I don't know if I can share those! hehe. Over all, awesome guy!

Thanks for sharing! I've always been a fan of Sammy Williams. It's good to know that he is still looking good too. But darn, I would love to hear what his "interesting opinions" were.

Wow! He looks really different.
He was amazing in the original ACL.
Is that a wedding ring on his finger?

maybe he should shoot for Off-Broadway first.

He really looks great. As for his show, I doubt it could make it to Broadway, but perhaps he could do smaller venues here and around the country, including cabaret spaces, like Donna McKechnie has done with her solo show.

I figure that's what will end up happening and he said something to the extent that he could bring it around the country as 'his show'.

OMG!

ultimately jealous I am. I really want to meet him, my uncle was in the Happy Time with him.

I am happy he's writing a one man show, because I swear I will be there on the first day.

He looks good. I mean, he looks totally different, but, still good. :)
