Shrek cast changes?

I was just on the Shrek website and noticed that a lot of the cast has changed..I knew about Robb Sapp for Pinochio..but there are new people for young fion, young shrek, shrek understudy, teen fiona and a whole new bunch of people for swings and ensemble tracks...why the sudden change you think?

The actor who played young Shrek, Adam Riegler is playing PUgsly in the Addam's Family musical.
