Tomorrow night at Town Hall, Nina Simone's daughter, Simone, will recreate Nina's 1959 concert there with Nina's orchestra. The Town Hall site has more information.

Does that mean you can't get to the show, BSo?

I'm very interested in her embracing her mother's legacy, and carrying forth the message that Nina felt so strongly about. I'll be curious to see what the critical/audience reaction to this is.

I'm all the way in PA, unfortunately.

When they first announced it last year I was very excited to see her perform again.

But I won't be home until May.
