A little bird told me he's signed on to be in Equus.

Strange, but interesting choice.
I know they were looking at dancers for the horses.
but they really should be Mimes, which is of course a dead art.

Posted: 6/25/08 at 10:38pmWell, it's a high profile show for sure. Using dancers seems like a wise choice given the physiques, aside from their balance and sense of movement.

Everett McGill, the actor who played Nugget in the original Broadway production was astonishingly beautiful.
At least he was to this 17-year-old at the time.

Man, I wonder if Spencer will understudy Harry Potter.
Now THAT I'd pay to see!

They had dancers in the UK productions. Mmm, dancers in tight tops... ^_^
It's quite interesting casting hot guys as horses I think. The horse masks purposefully don't conceal any of the humanity, and the skin-tight tops don't exactly hide their nice physiques. Which means the audience has an excellent chance of themselves finding the horses attractive, which just adds another layer to the whole mess. :)
Anyhoo, the physicality of the horses is really something. You'll never see horsier bipeds, I promise.

Posted: 6/26/08 at 12:24pmHe's already revealed that he's been cast in Brigadoon. Hopefully there isn't a conflict.
