Posted: 8/11/14 at 7:26amOkay, this might seem silly to some, but my niece, who is a HUGE Idina fan, desperately wants to do stage door after the show. I have seen the show twice - and LOVED it - and wouldn't mind seeing it again. That being said, I purchased tickets for Tuesday (tomorrow, 8/12) and the weather is calling for rain. She wants to see the show, but the hopes of meeting her as well is a huge draw. I know there are no guarantees but from the boards here, she usually comes out with the exception of in between shows. Anyone with any experience in this? Thanks so much!

Posted: 8/11/14 at 2:36pmSomeone has mentioned this on here in the past, if you want to search for it, but I recall that a few cast members have stagedoored in the rain before, but I can't recall if Idina only signed a few things and quickly got into her car, or if she headed right for the car... probably depends on the rain at the time. Her top priority is staying in good health to do the show 8x a week...

Posted: 8/11/14 at 2:40pmIt might help if you make sure you have an umbrella. When I went to the stage door for Kinky Boots it was raining like crazy. He whole cast did sign though. They basically hopped from one umbrella to another to keep from getting soaked. If your one if the few with an umbrella Idina might be more inclined to sign for you guys.

Posted: 8/12/14 at 11:06amMy best advice is bring an umbrella and stand by the barricade closest to her car. Get a front row spot and hope for the best!
