Anyone seen this? I'm in town for 2 days and I'd like to check it out. Are there cheap ticket options? is it worth it?

I'm sure it's worth it if you can get a ticket. I love the movie, and the clips I have seen of the stage show look wonderful!

Ripped, we don't really do cheap tickets over here, unless its coming towards the end of the season than some discounts might pop up.

Well I didn't want to get into it, but he's a Satanist. Every full moon he sacrifices 4 puppies to the Dark Lord and smears their blood on his paino. This should help you understand the score for Wicked a little bit more. Tazber's: Reply to Is Stephen Schwartz a Practicing Christian

I do hope they bring it to NYC.

"Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the arrivals gate at Heathrow Airport. General opinion's starting to make out that we live in a world of hatred and greed, but I don't see that. It seems to me that love is everywhere. Often it's not particularly dignified or newsworthy, but it's always there - fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, husbands and wives, boyfriends, girlfriends, old friends. When the planes hit the Twin Towers, as far as I know none of the phone calls from the people on board were messages of hate or revenge - they were all messages of love. If you look for it, I've got a sneaky feeling you'll find that love actually is all around."

You could try your luck here perhaps:

Otherwise, if you have a bit of time before your trip, you could start keeping an eye on their social media, sign up for the newsletter etc. You might hear about some offer that way.

Mr Kelly, thanks for the info. I had no idea they did rush.

I saw it on Facebook and think it's a recent change. Apparently they are available 2 hours before the show at the box office

Thanks for the info! We rushed tonight and got really great stall/orchestra seats. Full view.

The show was def. a mixed bag, which is probably on par with most of Lurman's pieces.

It seemed like it was tough to find an all around triple threat because you either got the amazing dancer male lead, but who couldn't sing or act, or the great actress and singer of the female lead, but not a great dancer.

The book was a bit of a mess. It kind of played like a movie. A set piece would be dragged on for one line, then dragged off, etc.

The music was all over. Some really terrible lyrics/songs mixed with some decent moments.

Honestly I don't see this taking off in the states. It's a little too Australian and parts of it felt stolen from better shows like Priscilla.
