Okay, I've only been to New York once in my life, so I'll admit I'm not the wisest in knowing proper "ticket buying" procedures for Broadway Shows... However, I'm going with my High School Model UN club this May for a conference there and I'm trying to see as many shows as free time (and a low paycheck) will allow. I've heard a lot of people talking about "student rush" tickets-is that only applicable for college students? Or can high school students also acquire them?
What is the process for buying student rush tickets?
Thanks very much!
Normally they require a student ID in order to be purchased. The best info on Rush can be found at http://www.talkinbroadway.com/boards/index.php?category=&rush=show&order=
The link above are all available shows.
The process is very simple. Some shows sell them all the time day of, and some an hour before. You just show up at the designated time, if one is present, and ask for student rush tickets.
