They're dark on Thursdays.
I too am wondering, anybody see Susan E as Millie?
Didn't TMM have a special matinee yesterday?
I know that the show's not nearly over yet... but if anyone went, post about Susan! I'm really curious!!

I went to their special matinee performance yesterday- Susan's v. first show. I personally really enjoyed her! I loved her Gimme Gimme... reeeeally good! If she was that good for her first show then she'll be a fabulous Millie once she's more comfortable with the part. Yay Susan =)
glad to hear it. I love her! (Wicked_Elphie, if you're reading this, I'm sorry! I love you, but you can't be bitter forever!)
I was also there at the matinee on Monday. I thought she did really well for her first show. She did a few things noticeably different from Sutton. The prat fall was longer (a fall forward and then another fall as she's trying to get back up - which I heard was the way it's done on the tour?) and she sang a little extended version of "Not For The Life of Me". The delivery of her lines were quite different from Sutton's and some of the changes I really liked. She definitely puts her own slant on the role and I think it's really worth seeing.

I have always enjoyed Susan, as I have stated in the past and feel that she will do very very well in this part.

That's great to hear.
I'm also glad to know that Susan's put her own touches to the role.
do you mean something like " gotta be more than a country wife making babies till i croack?..."
Good for Susan! I saw her in Cabaret and thought she did a great job. Bad for me - looks like I'll be spending more money...eeek...so I can see her in the role.
Thats great!!! i wish her luck!

I caught the matinee today and thought she was really great. I really enjoy Susan Egan, although I didn't think she was much different than in Triumph of Love, Cabaret, etc.
I was in the balcony, so it could have been a sound thing, but there wasn't much force behind her voice, which I've never thought to be a problem with her before.
Either way, she did great, and thought the show was in good shape!

Yup, that was one of the lines...
Does anyone know if Darcie sings this version on the tour? Just curious since it's the first time I've heard it.
Yes, Darcie does sing these lyrics in the tour.
I saw her today.
She was just...fantastic. This was my 2nd time seeing her, I'd seen her in Cabaret back in Dec. I really really enjoyed the show as well. Very refreshing.
just wondering, since most people have been in the show for a long time, what is her chemistry like w/the rest of the cast? Jimmy?

Christian is on a week's vacation so during the Monday matinee, Richard Roland was playing the part of Jimmy. They were cute together, but I'd like to see her performance with Christian. Her little hug with Angela before "Ah! Sweet Mystery" was cute though because they were both the same height.
I'd like to see her again in the role once Dixie starts and when Christian gets back from vacation.
