Sweeney Review 7/18

I just wanted to throw in my two cents on this show and say how GREAT it was!! This is a departure from our usual Broadway show since we tend to gravitate toward the 'pop rock' ones like Rent, Jersey Boys, Hairspray, etc. Me and my 10 year old daughter listened to the soundtrack non-stop a few weeks prior which really helped in following the story. All the performances were top notch and I actually think we might try to see it again. The only downer came at the stage door when the skies opened up and we missed Patti (though we were able to get everyone else except Mr. Jacoby).

Soundtrack- movies.
Cast recording- musicals.
