Sweeney Todd...Huh?

Maybe I totally missed out on some big news here, because I haven't been keeping up-to-date with the Broadway news, but is Sweeney closing? Someone made a post (which was in the now-deleted "Up Yours, Tony Voters" thread) that Sweeney received a closing for this month. No where could I find information on a closing. Playbill.com and Theatermania, unless they haven't been updated, list Sweeney as an open ended run. I must be missing something bigger here...anyone know the story?

I think someone is jumping the gun. As far as I know, nothing has been announced. There is lots of speculation as to when Sweeney may close, but if a notice has posted you wouldn't even need to ask this question, you'd KNOW.

we have had no announced closing. there was a thread like this. the only closing thoughts for this month are rumors.

I think part of the confusion is that Patti is taking a vacation to be in a concert version of Gypsy in August but I don't think the show is actually going to close.
